HAM provided our F/A-18A Hornet cockpit to Marion NC Police Department “National Night Out” celebration on 8-1-2023. Thank you to our volunteers Walt Hanes, Dale Turner, Gage Hice and Mark Benedict, for working this event. There were a lot of happy faces who got a chance to sit into an actual fighter jet cockpit. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie, and our museum Volunteers always answer the call to provide our cockpit whenever local Police Departments invite us to attend. We’ll see everyone again next year!
