Hickory Aviation Museum contains a treasure of information for:
- Those who desire to preserve the history of our Military Aircraft.
- Those who wish to honor our Veterans and Aviation Heroes.
- Those that want to enjoy the past and learn about the future.
Our Vision Statement is to "Preserve, Honor & Educate"
Our Ultimate Goal is to have the Museum open to the public seven days a week. There are no paid employees at the Museum. The "Doors of History" are open today due to dedicated volunteers.
We need volunteers to meet and greet the public, restore and repair aircraft, conduct tours for guests and tour groups.
No aviation experience is necessary.
